Light & Kinetic Installation

The Tesseract

The Tesseract was born out of a collaboration with local Dublin artist, Mark McNamara, and our  talented crew, Fractals, known for their art direction, production, and construction of captivating installations and stages at various Irish festivals.

The Tesseract, challenges your perceptions and unveils the enigmatic boundaries of our understanding. The installation is a captivating blend of art and science that invites observers to explore the interplay of dimensions. It leaves you wondering about the very essence of reality and the effectiveness of existence itself. What is true and genuine? What actually unfolds in the world? Are reality, fantasy and illusion all the same?

This mesmerising kinetic aerial installation was inspired by the concept of a tesseract. It aims to challenge perception through the use of a single, directional movement. As lights strategically illuminate the piece, the viewer is deceived, perceiving simultaneous backward and forward motions along with fascinating folding effects. If you manage to locate the perfect distance to view it from, the piece will move backwards, forwards and fold in upon itself at the same time.

LED Light & Interactive Installation

Triscala

Emerging from a collaboration of friends was a large interactive art instillation called Triscala.

Triscala, drawing inspiration from the ancient Irish triple spiral (Triskelion) was a wooden dome composed of three, six and twelve sided geometries and rotational symmetry. The space provided a visual and auditory feast activated through co-operation. With light and synchronised sounds, festival goers played together to create unique sensory experiences.

People Dancing at The Glowhole Experiential Installation at Body and Soul Festival

The Glowhole was a little slice of disco heaven. It gave people a cosy place to relax, regroup or escape the rain and was a feast for the senses - the bright lights, soft cushions and interactivity not to mention the magic that comes from a chance encounter with an interesting stranger found within. Spectators standing outside could also enjoy the light show put on by those playing inside.
