The Tesseract

The Tesseract was born out of a collaboration with my friend, local Dublin artist, Mark McNamara. Both a fun and rewarding experience, we were able to combine our unique perspectives and talents to create something truly special.

A kinetic aerial installation based on the concept of a Tesseract. Our Tesseract is an attempt to push the boundaries of perception using only the simple, singular directional movement of the piece. Lights pointed at the piece misdirect the viewer as they stand back from it, making the piece move backwards, forwards and fold in upon itself at the same time.

Triscala

Emerging from a collaboration of friends was a large interactive art instillation called Triscala.

Triscala, drawing inspiration from the ancient Irish triple spiral (Triskelion) was a wooden dome composed of three, six and twelve sided geometries and rotational symmetry. The space provided a visual and auditory feast activated through co-operation. With light and synchronised sounds, festival goers played together to create unique sensory experiences.

People Dancing at The Glowhole Experiential Installation at Body and Soul Festival

The Glowhole was a little slice of disco heaven. It gave people a cosy place to relax, regroup or escape the rain and was a feast for the senses - the bright lights, soft cushions and interactivity not to mention the magic that comes from a chance encounter with an interesting stranger found within. Spectators standing outside could also enjoy the light show put on by those playing inside.
